Critical Care Course Overview
The Critical Care Course covers an extensive range of critical care topics and skills, including but not limited to:

Airway Management: Techniques and equipment for advanced airway management, intubation, and cricothyrotomy.

Ventilation: Operation, management, and troubleshooting of mechanical and noninvasive ventilators.

Vascular Access and Monitoring: Insertion and management of arterial lines, central venous catheters, chest tubes, and introduction to hemodynamic monitoring.

Procedure Skills: Escharotomy, operation of cardiac assist devices, intracranial pressure monitoring, and more.

Medical Devices: Use and troubleshooting of various devices such as infusion pumps, temperature-monitoring probes, and pacemakers.

Patient Care: Insertion and maintenance of tubes, use of obstetric and ultrasonography equipment, and infectious disease precautions.


Critical Care Courses Led by Industry Professionals
Instructors are critical care professionals, including CCP-C, FP-C, or MDs, specializing in various topics within the field. The team brings decades of experience from different parts of Arizona and surrounding states.

Retesting and Refresher Courses
Students who do not pass initially can continue into future classes until successful. The program provides refresher lectures on Critical Care to maintain skills over time.
